Two weekends ago we took a short weekend long trip to Ifrane. Ifrane is a city located about 2.5 hours to the east of Rabat in the Atlas Mountains. It's a very unique city because of its architecture, as it was built to look European and is called "Morocco's Switzerland." In addition to that, it also snows quite a bit during winter! We had originally planned to travel there during Christmas, but decided to wait until snow was in the forecast. It felt very strange to be surrounded by snow and experience such cold temperatures in a place like Africa! Enjoy these photos of the snow, a beautiful sunset, and monkeys! Below is a video of some monkeys!
During this trip we were given a lot more freedom with our time because we didn't scheduled activities throughout the entire day. It was really nice to just relax and kind of just get away from it all! In other news, in about a week we will be going on our next excursion to Marrakech and Agadir! We'll be doing a lot of cool things and I look forward to sharing that experience on here!
Thanks for reading!
